The shelves come in two lengths, three heights, and two depths, and can be mounted upside down, extending the height options threefold. The system allows for a mix and match approach, enabling users to create a wall of shelves in any direction - up, down, sideways, or even in and out from the wall. Wardrobe items can also be integrated into the system, making it a versatile solution for various applications.

Unu's design was inspired by simple geometric shapes and the fascination of simple metalwork. The design process involved traditional metal bending, spinning, milling, and more. The system is made from solid 4mm aluminum, powder coated in either black or white. This choice of materials and manufacturing techniques gives Unu a robust yet elegant appearance.
